Hi!  Laws are changing and I must keep up!  When you use this site to contact me, It will keep the information in my site's contact list.  It keeps the information you enter here and the date you contacted me.  I only use this information to email or call you back to assist in the student's academic progress.  I didn't even know it kept your name, email, etc. until I was notified about the law coming into effect this month (May 25, 2018).  So, as you can see, your information is safe!  Here is the legalize:

We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page [I haven’t set it up to do this last sentence, but then, I didn’t know it stored your contact info – so I’m adding this in]. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, communications); and comments.

When you conduct a transaction on our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.

We collect such Non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes:

1. To provide and operate the Services [Read education];

2. To provide our Users [Parents and Students] with ongoing customer assistance and technical support;

3. To be able to contact our Visitors and Users with general or personalized service-related notices and promotional messages;

4. To create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred Non-personal Information, which we or our business partners may use to provide and improve our respective services; [I have no business partners, but. . . . ] 

5. To comply with any applicable laws and regulations. [only reason I’m even adding this stuff!]

 

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. [When I looked, it only contained the information you type in to contact me and for me to contact you]

We may contact you to notify you regarding your education, to troubleshoot problems with your education, to resolve any problems associated with your education, to send updates about our school or your educational progress, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes we may contact you via email, telephone, text messages [I don’t text. . . ], and postal mail.
