Non-Fiction Project
During second semester, students may read a wide variety of books in order to reach the required pages. One book must be non-fiction and that book should be used to complete the project.
Independent Reading Speeches
Students are required to meet standards for speaking. During Reading Class, they will have two opportunities to meet these standards.
Literary Scrapbook
During first semester, students may read a wide variety of books in order to reach the required pages. One book must be fiction and that book should be used to complete the project.
Each semester students will be completing an Independent Reading Project and Speech to demonstrate all the skills learned throughout the term.
